this was an idea that came from reading my facebook horoscope one day last week. The last line made me chuckle:
"Today would be a good day for a haircut."

I'm sure the writer put that in for fun. "Haircut? what? how do the horoscope people know that??? creeepy."

...process is very important. I have always believed in the generating of piles, and I look at the process of "making" like exercise. The more you exercise the stronger you become. Needless to say I do a lot of making for it's own sake.

getting back to basics

I picked up a drawing/illustration book at Coles last week, it's designed as a drawing course. So i'm getting back to basics and am going to be disciplined and go through the book. Try to remember and practice what i learned in college.

This drawing doesn't look that exciting, but the process was good. Observing and drawing and measuring and erasing and re-drawing.... fun stuff. I just noticed when scanning this that my ellipse is all screwed up on the middle object. It has points!

this is a sketch from a december church service. The speaker was talking about being a "doorway" for heaven or hell to come onto earth / into life. Letting good come through your actions or evil come through your actions.
