Page one of dinosaur comic coloured! hooray! Had lots of fun colouring. Also went smoother once I got some help with the fade fill technique. 

Larry the Minotaur

Some concept sketches for my main character for our next comic project. Still working on the story for this one... getting a little stuck. But this is Larry the Minotaur. He likes to cook. :)  

Story is loosely based on the Greek myth of Theseus and the Minotaur.

The head portion of this creature-thing I am printing. Largest plate I have etched so far... was kinda scary. But also exciting.

Starting the long process of etching my plates. Feels good tho. This is the first proof from the tail plate (my final prints will be collaged together, which I am excited about, haven't done that before).

Blocking out areas in stages....   Took a lot of breaks b/c the hard ground fumes were getting to me.

Plate! I love how the etched plate looks. I also like having an actual physical object I can hold in my hands. Feels much more concrete than a drawing (well I guess that's kind of obvious...).
